The Pablo's Team
Rick has been in the Motorcycle Industry for over 35 years and has been fitting tyres for almost 30 years - so he knows a thing or two about the type of tyres you will need to suit your riding purpose and style.
He is currently rebuilding a 1996 GSXR750T to be race ready for the new Period 7 race class. He also races a 1986 GSXR1100 in the Period 6 class and has finished second in the 2012 & 2013 Victorian Road Race Titles and first in the 2016 & 2017 Victorian Road Race Titles.
Rick is passionate about grass roots motorcycle sport. He has been a volunteer Race Marshal for over 20 years, a current member of the Motorcycling Australia Historic Racing Commission and an all-round good bloke (that's what he says anyway).
Steve says he is great at wheel stands and being a (wanna be) punk rocker. We're not so sure about this but he is great at managing the workshop and changing tyres.
Steve loves bikes and has a number of different road and dirt bikes. When not working on a Saturday you might find him at Frankston MX track, out in the bush or cruising on one of his road bikes. We think that's why he's always smiling.
Ivan is our qualified and highly experienced Motorcycle Mechanic. He is also a qualified Aircraft Engineer just in case you have a Boeing you want to drop in.......... just don't mention V-Max
Like Rick, many of our long-term customers will know Ivan as he has been a regular face at the workshop for over 15 years. Ivan looks after all of our motorcycle servicing, mechanical repairs and roadworthies.
Ivan races a Period 5 GSX1100 although he hasn't been racing his bike recently, leg out of bed and is currently building up a Period 6 RZ500, photos to come.
Daniel reckons he is better at wheel stands than Steve and is working with us every Saturday.
Daniel is a keen MX'er and when he has spare time he likes to head to the Nudawading MX track or up the bush. He is thinking about starting competitive MX racing or being a fluffer, depending on which ever he is better at.
Although Scott has retired to enjoy time with his family and friends, we fully expect to see him about. He might be just sitting at the counter watching the team work hard, keeping us up-to-date on what he has been doing or coming into lend a hand every now and then.
But to us he will always be part of the Pablo's family (we know where you live Scott!).
Scott's motorcycle passion is a couple of Maico MX'ers - one he built from the spark plug up giving testament to his mechanical skills.
